Neko Media

NATURAL MEDIA INSTINCT

ABOUT

I have always held a love of storytelling. So combining this with my passion for travel along with a fascination for the ancient world, a group of like-minded friends and I created Neko Media. Our desire was to create short documentaries and films, showcasing the wisdom and wonders that abound on this planet.

As a small and fully independent media business, we mostly self-funded our projects, letting our interests lead us to the subjects that we wanted to focus on. We also managed to raise funds within our local community in order to buy filming equipment. Creating a distinctive logo for our business cards (see below), we were ready to capture the infinite wisdom and mystery of the planet, as well as meet some incredible people on our journey.

CAPTURING THE WORLD THROUGH OUR LENS

Our adventures took us all over ancient Celtic and Roman Britain and further afield to Egypt, Peru and beyond. We met many inspiring people, humble locals, indigenous elders and wise souls along the way

Some of the highlights included filming the annual Glastonbury Symposium, which attracts speakers/experts/audiences from around the world each year. It focuses not only on crop circles but geopolitics, consciousness and new frontiers.

ANCIENT EGYPT AND BEYOND

Drawn towards the mysteries of ancient Egypt, we managed to gain special permission from the Egyptian Ministry of Communication, and armed with our business visa, we set about capturing and documenting fascinating footage within some of Egypt’s most revered ancient monuments. These included the Temple of Karnak, Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple In Luxor.
